1.  Preparation Peace Training

Length:          8 week class (Feb 8th – April 4th)

Where:           Cincinnati House of Prayer

Cost:               $75 per person, $95 a couple

In this class we will be coming together to pray, plan, prepare and work through getting our selves and/or our families ready for days of challenge.  We will be working through the Preparedness Peace Curriculum as well as sharing with each other resources and ideas. There is a time commitment outside of class and also a financial commitment of @ $300 depending on equipment one chooses to purchase for their preparation. 

 

A description of the Preparedness Peace Curriculum is below:

 

Plan + Prepare = Peace 

Preparedness Peace is a basic disaster preparedness course designed to build a foundation for a lifestyle of preparedness. This course focuses on plans, kits, people and spiritual preparedness.

 

In the action-packed lessons, you'll learn how to ready your home and family for most types of disasters. This information will change your life. Here is a small sample of each week's subject:

 

Sessions Include:

   – Why Me? Why Prepare?

    – Teamwork and the Power of a Plan

    – Water Wise and Food Sense

    – Power Alley

    – Safe Home and Grab and Go Bags

    – Home Security

 

This is what you accomplish by the end of Preparedness Peace:

Family plans and Documents

     Documents copied, distributed, and placed in proper location(s)

     Safe Home Assessment

     Lighting and Energy Plans for power outage

     Evacuation Plans with maps and routes

     MOUs Communicate evacuation plans

     Intruder De-escalation Plan

     Home Security Plan

     Minimum three-day food storage

     Minimum three-day water storage

     Car Kit

     Home emergency supplies

     Grab and Go Bags

     Shelter-in Place room and supplies
